Ever wished you spent a bit less time at school on science and more time on perfecting the perfect plays?

Well that could now be a reality as one UK college is to set up a special gambling academy offering enthusiasts the opportunity to study all aspects of casino life.

A new department at Blackpool and Fylde College will offer keen students the chance to study for a degree in roulette, blackjack or casino management, according to onlinecasinonews.com.

Blackpool is widely believed to be the UK’s new Vegas with much investment in new casinos scheduled for the city over the next decade.

The College will enlist its first 350 students next month and successful applicants to the course will choose from a range of gambling related courses, which include slot-machine engineering and training as a croupier.
