Titanic director links with Singapore casino bid

James Cameron, director of the hugely successful movie Titanic, has linked with Harrah’s in its bid for a Singapore casino resort.

The company is bidding for the integrated resort project at Marina Bay in Singapore and hopes to create “iPort” at the facility – an immersive indoor entertainment experience.

The iPort facility will compliment the casino at the location and will feature a one million square foot, 16 story state-of-the-art complex with huge attractions, rides and groundbreaking shows.

Gary Loveman, Harrah’s CEO, said: “iPort is something that is truly pathfinding, something that has never been done anywhere in the world.

“We believe this will be the gateway attraction for Asia.”
