This weekend will see a series of head-up poker matches between two up and coming industry professionals who are both aiming to win a considerable cash prize.

Liz Lieu will take on Erik Sagstrom – both upcoming poker stars – in an event to be hosted at the new Venetian poker room.

The ladies will compete in a three-round $200,000 heads-up match running from May 5th to May 7th.

Women’s poker has experienced a considerable surge in popularity over the last few years.

Twenty-three-year-old Sagstrom has had a successful poker career on the internet while Lieu is known within the industry as “The Poker Diva”.
