The College Poker Championship is nearing its end with just a few students left battling it out in the regional heats.

Taking place on May 14th, the College Poker Regional Finals will pit the brightest student poker talent against one another in a head-to-head with the top ten per cent competing in the finals.

A company statement read: “The aim of the championships is to award cash scholarships and charitable donations that will enable students to fund their educational endeavours.

“Now it’s time to crown a champion, make dreams come true and change the face of College Poker forever.”

There is $135,000 up for grabs in prize money while the ultimate champ will also land themselves a $50,000 scholarship.
