Hollywood stars have own gambling den

As the filming for the third of Danny Ocean’s crime capers begins, a poker lounge has been specially built for the stars and the film’s crew.

Ocean’s 13, expected to be released next summer, sees the return of Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Matt Damon as the popular and sophisticated master criminals.

And, if the rumours are to be believed, Hollywood legend Al Pacino may also make a fleeting appearance in the latest instalment.

Producer Jerry Weintraub arranged for the special casino, where the on-set meals will be served, as well as a 24-hour bar and drivers to take them home, just in case.

Weintraub said the idea came from his association with the first Danny Ocean: “It was inspired by Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack, guys I hung around with all my life, who made the original Ocean’s 11.”

Steven Soderbergh returns to direct, and David Holmes will once again score this stylish crime thriller.
